Jan Neil is an Australian career artist, who has completed many commissions, in both the public and private sectors.

In 1981 Jan moved from Central Victoria to Melbourne where she has exhibited regularly. She has also exhibited in every Australian State as well as overseas..

In 1997 Jan moved to her Carlton Studio, Melbourne, where she commenced Acrylic Collage on stretched canvas. Collage materials used were mainly found objects; timber, metal, wire and fabrics. This period marked a new chapter in Jan's prolific artistic career, during which she completed many commissions for high proile clients; Greg Norman's yacht; Launceton Country Club Tasmania, Sails in the Desert, Uluru and many others. From Carlton, In 2002 Jan moved to a purpose designer studio and gallery in Clifton Hill, where for the next 8 years she held exhibitions of her own and the work of other artists in a variety of mediums.

Jan's artistic inspiration comes from the natural environment, as well as her urban surroundings in Fitzroy, particularly street art and graffiti. Her new toolbox consists of photography, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and digital printing. All of the images on this website are available as limited edition prints - signed and numbered. Jan uses only archival inks and substrates to provide her clients with quality and affordable art.
