Framing in Waterways
The name "Waterways" comes from a number of man-made lakes, lagoons and wetlands in and around the estate, which form an interconnected waterway to the Mordialloc Creek and a wildlife corridor connecting Braeside Park to its north and the Edithvale Wetlands to its south. Waterways has an abundance of wonderful bird life, walking tracks at the front door, friendly neighbours, great sunrises and sunsets. Waterways is that it is only a 5-to-10-minute drive to a host of Melbourne's best beaches Chelsea, Edithvale, Aspendale, Mordialloc and Parkdale and 20 minutes from the Mornington Peninsula.
The Friends of Braeside Park works closely with the Parks Victoria Rangers and is actively involved in park planning and development, tree planting, funding of tree carvings, seed collection and plant propagation, bird counting and monitoring bats and possums.
Waterways is only 3km from Studio Craft Frameworks Braeside. We will assist you in all your framing needs, such as: botanical paintings, bird photography and certificates. We use individual custom-made frames of quality & conservation framing materials. Corporate framing is a specialty along with sporting memorabilia. Simply email your photo or digital image with specifications to us. We liaise with CPL Digital to print and mount to foam core, then we will frame to your requirements & deliver *. For specialised printing we recommend you contact CPL Digital direct, we will pick up your printing on completion and arrange framing.

Mouldings and Mat Boards
We have a comprehensive range of frame mouldings available along with some natural Victorian Ash and Oak timber frames. One of our specialties is the lovely Bellini Fine Mouldings range. Bellini Fine Moulding is hand-made in Italy by the finest master artisans, using time-honoured skills and knowledge passed down through the generations. Sourcing only from the most gifted craftsmen, third and fourth generation artisans, embracing traditional ideals and skills to produce the most desirable and dynamic collection of moulding for bespoke framing. Our picture framing mat boards are acid free and will help preserve your artworks. We also have a range of high quality conservation materials available to ensure preservation and longevity of your wall art.
Canvas Stretching
We are experts Stretching & Framing all varieties of artworks on canvas from Aboriginal art and Artists paintings to prints on canvas. There is a specialty in building the canvas stretchers and our experience will ensure your artwork has a professional finish. We use quality, specially manufactured, art stretcher bar which is finger-jointed for extra strength. We have a large range of shadow gap frames if you want to add a frame, including natural oak canvas float frames. The frame moulding not only adds an elegant gallery finish to the artwork but also protects the corners and edges of your canvas.
Glass
Whether it be Glass, Perpex, Art Glass, or no glazing, we are here to advise on the best option. Along with the standard clear framing glass for glazing, we can offer museum quality art glass which provides crystal clear transparency while blocking 99% of harmful UV rays for the ultimate protection your beloved artwork deserves. We also offer specialty UV resistant acrylic for framed artwork display. It is an ideal plastic for framing artwork because of its UV resistant properties preventing it being weathered by the harmful rays of the sun. It has a high impact resistance and natural optical clarity.

Acrylic Display Boxes
It is often hard to frame sporting objects, but we have the solution! MOULDED ACRYLIC FRAMING suitable for object framing 3 dimensional items such as Boxing Gloves, Cricket Bats, Sports Balls including Soccer, Football, NRL, AFL, Netball, Basketball, Tennis, Cricket, Baseball and Golf. We have also provided custom-made acrylic display boxes for object d'art including ceramics, antiques, figurines, and sculptures. The boxes are 85% UV filtered.
Medal Framing
Military medals have a very sentimental meaning. We can provide advice on framing war medals with or with out photos and plaques. Memorabilia framing such as: Sporting achievements and honour medals can also be memorialised in a custom frame. We can arrange photography printing and plaques to enhance the final product.

Melbourne is not only the cultural capital but the sporting capital of Australia. It is optional to frame your fabric textile without glass but more often they are matted with glass to keep dust off the framed tapestries.
